About the Artists

I’m Alison and I’m Allan and we’ve been drawing and painting since we were kids. An introduction to each other over charcoal sketches at University sparked our pursuit of excellence in the way we create our art. We are committed to sustainably and ethically created artworks and use materials and suppliers aligned with our convictions and beliefs.

After extensive travels and residence in many countries (including Europe, the UK, the Americas, Africa, South East Asia, Japan, The South Pacific Islands and New Zealand), we settled permanently in Greater Sydney and started our contemporary art adventure – The Ashleys Art.

Inspired by our local environment, travels, and life experiences we see exhilarating images in our minds which we love bringing to life on canvas and sharing with the world.
